Crowned by Mt. Kilimanjaro African’s highest peak, the Amboseli National park is one of Kenya’s Most popular parks. “Amboseli,” name comes from a Maasai word empulsel meaning dusty salty place. Amboseli National park covers an area of 392Km2 and is in southern Kenya. Its known for its large Elephants’ herds and hence acquiring an unique name “Home of African Elephants”.
The guests will depart from Nairobi city center in the morning at around 1000hrs heading to Amboseli national park for lunch and refreshments at the kilima camp. After lunch the clients will leave for the game drive at Amboseli national park commonly known as the home of elephants. Crowned by mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli national park is one of the most popular park in Kenya. The name “Amboseli” comes from a maasai ‘direct’ meaning salty dust. Amboseli national park is in the southern part of Kenya. It’s known for its large herds of elephants, and the view of immerse mount Kilimanjaro, across the border of Tanzania. Observation hill offers the highest view point to see park’s plains and swamps. Among the animals to be seen includes giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles and hundreds of bird species. Dinner and overnight at kilima camp.
After the breakfast the clients will begin their morning game drive in park for more sighting where they are expected to arrive at Nairobi city at the late afternoon/ evening for drop off.
